Welcome to the Clearfield Campus Library nursing resources page. The purpose of this
site is to provide
you with a brief overview to the services and resources available via Clearfield Campus Library
and Stevenson Library. Use this page for
information about how to contact your librarian, to familiarize yourself with
basic nursing resources, and to gain information about accessing
databases off campus or to access additional services.

Monday-Thursday, 8:00AM-8:00PM., Friday, 8:00AM-4:00PM. Limited
services are available between semesters. No services are
available on university holidays.
Services for Students

Reference assistance is available to help you with any stage of your
assignment or research process. You can either stop in the
library, call, e-mail or use the Ask A Librarian
online form.
- Circulation Policy - Find information on loan periods,
renewals, fines
- Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery - Books and articles not
available at the LHU Clearfield Campus Library may be requested for
borrowing through ILLIAD,
our online ILL request process. Items may be emailed to you via your LHU
account or sent to our library for pick-up. Since delivery can take up to two
weeks please plan your research needs accordingly.

- Use PILOT, the library's online catalog to locate books.
You can search by:
- Keywords
- Exact title
- Author name
- Subject
- Browse the Medical/Nursing Reference Colllection
- Access encyclopedias, handbooks, dictionaries and manuals.
- Circulating Collection
- LC Headings R-RZ house medical and nursing materials
- Use
UBorrow or
EZBorrow to search the catalogs of other libraries.
- Find articles in magazines, journals or newspapers...
- Use any of the article databases listed below to find journal, magazine or
newspaper articles on your topic. A number of the databases
provide access to the full text of the articles.
- Access article databases off campus...
- A valid LHUP ID number is required to access databases from
off-campus. Simply enter your ID number or 14 digit barcode at
the prompt.
- Cite a book, article or web site...
- Use an LHUP e-mail account...
- Your e-mail account is the only account that will be used to
communicate with you regarding library information. It is
important to establish your account as soon as possible if you have
not already done so. Instructions for establishing your account
