Frequently Asked Questions

What are the minimum requirements to transfer to LHU?
Students must have a minimum of 24 transferable credits and a 2.0 cumulative GPA to be considered for admission (select majors require a higher GPA).  For students who have fewer than 24 transferable credits, we will review the student's high school transcript in combination with the college credits that they have earned.

What if I have fewer than 24 transferable credits?
We will closely review your high school transcript and SAT scores in conjunction with the college coursework that you have completed.

Will my credits transfer?
If the credits are earned at a regionally accredited institution and a grade of “C” or higher is earned they will most likely transfer.  Please note that remedial courses do not transfer, regardless of grade earned.  Please refer to the “Transfer Credits” section of our website.
