The Lock Haven CareerLink offers an array of services
to job seekers and employers. The following is a list of partnering
agencies: Area Agency on Aging, Bureau of Employer and Career
Services, Central Intermediate Unit 10/West Branch Technology Center,
Clinton County Assistance Office, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation,
STEP, and Veteran Services. Some of the services for job seekers are:
Orientation, enrollment on team PA CareerLink website, internet job
search, adult basic education/GED referral, career resource area,
career and occupational learning, childcare and housing information,
transportation information, civil service information, non-civil
service information, education and training information, self-directed
job search including internet assessment and interviewing techniques,
skills upgrade and retraining information, workshops, veteran
services, welfare programs, TRA/TAA information, youth programs, and
referrals and older work referrals. Some of the services for employers
are: direct job orders via internet, interview space, application
screening, labor market information, tax credit information,
occupational assessment testing, orientation to CareerLink, job
listings and recruitment assistance. Additional services include: use
of computer, telephone, fax and copier machine, classified ads,
internet job search with e-mail access, career explorations and
assessment, phone line directly connected to unemployment
compensation. The Lock Haven Team PA CareerLink offers comprehensive
services to individuals and employers at no cost, and regardless of
county residency. |

Lycoming-Clinton MHMR provides information and
referral, assessment, crisis intervention services, case management
and family based mental health services. Treatment and residential
services are provided through contracts with private service providers
and authorized through the MHMR Program. MHMR also provides early
intervention services from birth to age 3 who have a 25% development
delay in one or more areas. Services for children are coordinated
through the Child and Adolescent Service System Project Team when a
child receives a mental health diagnosis. |

VPS is a nonprofit organization that provides alcohol,
tobacco and other drug use prevention and education services. Many
services are provided at the elementary school level with most
programs being recurring or multi session in length. VPS does not
provide counseling or clinical services. The agency also provides
Court Reporting Network (CRN) evaluations and the Alcohol Highway
Safety School with individuals arrested for DUI. |
