Each spring, the Computer Science faculty and students attend the Pennsylvania Association of Computer and Information Science Educators (PACISE) Conference. At this conference, both faculty and students present current research in all areas of computing and computing education. Students also compete in the programming contest. Teams of two or three undergraduate students from various institutions program using the LINUX platform. All programs are written in C,C++ or Java. The installed compilers include g++ ,c++, gcc, cc, and Java 1.6.0 17. This conference provides opportunities for both faculty and students to engage in discussions about cutting edge technologies and current developments in the field.
