The Recreation Management program at Lock Haven University balances the theoretical and practical learning experiences necessary for a successful and rewarding career in recreation, parks, tourism, fitness and related fields. Students completing the degree requirements will be prepared for immediate employment or admittance into a graduate degree program upon graduation.
At LHU you can select among four different tracks of study: Fitness Management, Community/Commercial, Outdoor Recreation, or Therapeutic Recreation. The professors are highly respected in their fields of expertise and excel at helping undergraduates reach their goals. Faculty will be actively involved in your academic development through classroom instruction and extracurricular activities that include community service, student professional clubs, conference and workshop attendance, and university wide student involvement.
