The College of Natural, Behavioral and Health Sciences

Since the middle of the 20th century, scientific discoveries have rapidly expanded and changed our understanding of the intricacies of the biological and physical world in which we live and of the complexities of mind and body. The mission of the College of Natural, Behavioral, and Health Sciences is to both create and convey knowledge in these increasingly important fields and to produce graduates with the knowledge and skills to innovate and to address future challenges in the changing world of theoretical, clinical, and applied sciences. The College contributes significantly to the economy and well-being of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through our research and clinical partnerships and through the highly-trained workforce who complete Associates, Bachelors, and Masters Degrees from our programs.

Our faculty members are highly-skilled scientists, practitioners, and educators dedicated to the success of our students and advancement of knowledge in their fields. Students in the College of Natural, Behavioral, and Health Sciences gain in-depth knowledge, real-world learning experiences, research experience, and hands-on training. This engagement with real-life questions and issues develops the critical thinking and problem solving skills needed for success in tomorrow’s competitive job market or graduate school.

The College consists of the following disciplines: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Geology, Health Sciences, Mathematics, Nanotechnology, Nursing, Physician Assistant, Physics, and Psychology.
