Description of the Communication Media minor

Like nearly all minors at LHU, this one requires only 18 hours of course work. 
Two courses are required, but six of them are electives of your choice
as long as you take two electives at the 300 or 400 level.

(1) Six hours of required Journalism and Mass Communication courses:    

•   JOUR150 Introduction to Mass Communication

•   JOUR190 News Writing

(2) Twelve hours of Journalism and Mass Communication electives:

      At least 6 of the 12 elective hours must be taken at the 300 or 400 level.

(3) Total Hours: 18 hours
