You may satisfy as many as 6 hours of Communication Media electives by
taking an internship.
You may take any course with a JOUR
or MCOM prefix to satisfy the Communication Media electives requirement.
In addition, you may count SPCH 305 Public Relations as a Communication Media
elective.
Foreign Language: usually 4 courses (12 semester hours )
You are not required to take four language courses; instead, you are required only to pass the fourth level. If you took some language in high school, for example, then you might want to start at the second or third level. Be advised, though, that you still need 120 hours to graduate. So, if you start at, say, the third level, then you may take six more hours of general electives.
