CISC150 Credit By Exam

To place out of CISC150 you must get a total of 70% or better on the placement exam. There are four parts to the exam:

Computer Concepts
MS Word 2007
MS Excel 2007
MS Access 2007

We recommend that you use the "GO! With Microsoft Office 2007" textbook (introductory or intermediate) to study for the exam.  This book can be purchased from the LHU bookstore or any online bookstore. You may also be able to find used copies available from other students.

The exam is computer based.  When you are ready to take the exam you have to make an appointment with Professor Cohen. He will set you up on a PC in Akeley. The exam will take up to 2 hours.
