COMP150 Credit By Exam

The COMP150 Credit By Exam provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills with several applications to receive credit for COMP150 without taking the class. 

Students should only attempt to test out of COMP150 if not currently enrolled in the class, or are able to drop it without adversely affecting financial aid requirements.

This exam is designed for students that are already very familiar with the following topics:

Computer Concepts
MS Word 2010
MS Excel 2010
MS Access 2010

The exam requires a non-refundable purchase to access the testing software (approximately $20).

Students that pursue credit by exam at LHUP must complete the Credit by Exam Pre- and Post - Approval Form

Students interested in this opportunity should send an email from an lhup.edu account with the subject line "COMP 150 Test Out" to: blawless -at- lhup.edu (note this email address lacks the neccesary " @ " to thwart potential spam-bots).

Those sending this email will be contacted with details about the challenge exam at about 3 weeks before final exams. The exam will usually take place at about the 2 weeks before final exams.
