SBDC (Small Business Development Center)The Lock Haven University Small Business Development Center is a member of the Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers, Inc., a statewide, non-profit, network of university based centers that provide in-depth, quality business and economic development assistance to small businesses and prospective small businesses. The LHU SBDC was established in 1992, in order to promote growth, expansion, innovation, increased productivity and management improvement in existing small businesses in Clinton and Lycoming Counties. Small business owners or individuals interested in starting a small business in these areas are invited to request free assistance by contacting us. Funding support and resources are provided by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in part by a grant from the Department of Community & Economic Development, and by the U.S. Small Business Administration. SBA's funding is not an endorsement of any products, opinions or services. SBA funded programs are extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis.
