The Department of Business Administration, Computer Science, and Information Science offers two degree programs in business: the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and the Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
Both programs require a common core of courses that provide a base of theoretical knowledge and functional business skills necessary for more advanced study. The Business Administration program offers both a major and a minor in Business Administration.
In addition to the required core courses, accounting majors enroll in more advanced accounting courses. Business administration majors may select from among four concentrations: Finance and Economics, Management, International Business, and Management Information Systems.
Both the Business Administration and Accounting programs stress the need for applied experience as well as classroom knowledge.
