Combining theory and practice, faculty integrate real world experience into the classroom by taking advantage of guest speakers and incorporating project work for actual companies into class assignments. In addition, a large percentage of our students complete at least one internship prior to graduating.
Along with a strong general education foundation, our students are required to obtain at least 28 hours of external experience providing a well-rounded education. This diversity, combined with specialization in one of our four degree programs, produces a highly competitive education that pays. According to cnn.com, four of the top-ten most lucrative college degrees in 2006, are offered within our department.
