The Lock Haven University Department of Business Administration, Computer Science, and Information Technology offers four different, yet closely tied, degree programs.

The faculty within these programs bring strong academic backgrounds and extensive industry experience into the classroom allowing them to prepare students for successful careers in industry.

Combining theory and practice, faculty integrate real world experience into the classroom by taking advantage of guest speakers and incorporating project work for actual companies into class assignments. In addition, a large percentage of our students complete at least one internship prior to graduating.

Along with a strong general education foundation, our students are required to obtain at least 28 hours of external experience providing a well-rounded education. This diversity, combined with specialization in one of our four degree programs, produces a highly competitive education that pays. According to cnn.com, four of the top-ten most lucrative college degrees in 2006, are offered within our department.
