The IT Deparment operates 5 computer labs on the main campus. These labs are open to students, faculty and staff of LHUP with valid NT/Domain1 accounts. The labs are available for open use during the hours posted except when reserved for a class or other event. Information about these labs is located below.

This is an instructional lab with 32 seats and an instruction projection system. The PC's
are Dell OptiPlex GX520, 17 inch flat panel display and 2.8GHz Pentium Processors. Each is equipped with 80GB hard drive, 1GB of

This is an instructional lab with 30 seats and an instructional projection system. The PC's
are Apple Power Macintosh G4's with 17\" Studio flat panel display, 1.25GHz Processors. Each is equipped
with 512MB of RAM, DVD/CD-RW drives, 750MB Zip drives and 1.44MB floppy disk, running MacOS 10.4.

Residence Halls
The seven traditional Residence Halls are each equipped with four PC's. The PC's are IBM Lenovo,
Each is equipped with 2GB of RAM, CD-RW/DVD drives, and run
Microsoft Vista which includes much of the same software found in the regular computer labs. Hours and access
to these labs are determined by the Residence Life Staff of each hall.
All computer labs are connected via Ethernet to the LHUP campus network and have access to campus network resources and the internet. All Windows labs require a valid LHUP Windows NT Domain account for access. Additionally, each computer lab is equipped with high capacity laser printers. Lab Attendants are available to provide assistance to users and ensure smooth operation of the lab.
Information regarding the Clearfield computer labs will be posted in the near future. The Computing and Instructional Technology Center does not manage the Sloan, or Linux (Akeley 204) labs. Please contact the appropriate academic department for more information regarding these facilities.
