The Following are the classes of student user accounts available at Lock Haven University:
- Windows/Domain1/lhup.edu: This account enables logon access to the desktop of all networked PC's (excluding Macintoshes) on campus. This account is also used for publishing web pages, email through the Microsoft Exchange Server on Cardinal, and for VPN access.
- Falcon (UNIX): This account is used for student access to development tools and compilers used in Computer Science classes. This should not be confused with accounts on Penguin, which is administered by the Computer Science Department.
Student Accounts are automatically issued at the student's first registration and expire 120 days after leaving the University due to non-returning status or graduation See also, user obligations.
