learned about careers in criminal justice from experts in the
field during a recent trip to Washington, DC. The Criminal
Justice Club traveled to the nation's capital April 16 - 19 to
meet with dignitaries and learn about the opportunities
available to graduates with a degree in criminal justice. |

Schulze interns with Clinton County Juvenile Probation Office and lands job
LOCK HAVEN, PA - Graduating senior Kevin Schulze is stepping out of college and right into a job, thanks to some invaluable experience.
Schulze, who hails from Seccasunna, NJ, just received a bachelor's in criminal justice and a minor in sociology from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania (LHU), and he credits an internship in guiding him toward his career in corrections and landing a job at the Bellefonte Youth Detention Center. |

DEA recruiter talks to LHU criminal justice students
LOCK HAVEN, PA - Federal law enforcement agencies are recruiting at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania (LHU).
On Wednesday, Feb. 2, Special Agent Louis Troup Jr., a recruiter out of the federal Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) Philadelphia office, visited criminal justice instructor Dwayne Marshall's class to talk about how the agency is changing, its employment opportunities and the DEA's role in the current state of world affairs. Troup said it is a different DEA than it was years ago. |
