Office of Disability Services

Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania encourages academically qualified students with disabilities to take advantage of its educational programs. The University is responsible for ensuring that courses, programs, services, jobs, activities, and facilities are available and usable in the most integrated and appropriate settings. Students with disabilities seeking accommodations must identify as an individual with a disability and document, from the appropriate professional, how the disability limits their participation in courses, programs, services, jobs, activities, and facilities. Upon receipt of documentation of a disability, it is the responsibility of the Office for Disability Services for Students (ODSS) to explore and facilitate reasonable accommodations, academic adjustments, and/or auxiliary aids and services for individuals with disabilities in courses, programs, services, activities, and facilities. Students anticipating the need for accommodations, both before and after enrollment, are encouraged to contact Disability Services.
