The Office of Environmental Health and Safety provides advice and guidance on occupational and environmental health and safety issues to the Lock Haven University community.

Our mission is to provide a safe and healthful workplace free from recognized hazards and to work with the university's departments and organizations so that they:

• Provide an environment that protects and promotes the health and safety of all students, employees, and visitors of LHU.

• Comply with environmental health and safety laws, regulations, and recognized standards developed for the protection of individuals.

• Identify strategies and processes to reduce risks and loss.
