Students will be free to enter and talk with recruiters from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.  During that time, you may schedule individual interviews to be conducted throughout the day at your table.  Those not conducting afternoon interviews will be asked to pack up before going to lunch so as not to disrupt scheduled interviews.

The Central PA Fall Teacher Job Fair has been held for 6 years with an average of
400 - 450 candidates.

A registration fee of $115 covers the cost of one (1) recruiter per organization and includes one table and 2 chairs in the fair area, breakfast, lunch and refreshments.. An Employer Lounge will also be accessible throughout the day for beverages and light refreshments. Add $30 for each additional recruiter and $25 for each additional table.

Early registration is suggested as space is limited and fills very quickly. Registrations MUST be received by October 19th to guarantee inclusion in the Employer Directory. To assure your district’s space at the Fair, register (by mail or fax) today!

Location & Accommodations

The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel is located at the Innovation Park exit off Route 322 in the center of Pennsylvania.  It is accessible by all major  highways; 90 miles from Harrisburg; 125 miles from Pittsburgh; 200 miles from Philadelphia and the Washington DC areas.

The University Park Airport in State College, located 5 miles from the Penn Stater, is serviced by Delta,  Northwest Airlines, United and USAirways.  Shuttle service from the airport to the Penn Stater is available and should be arranged through Guest Services.

A block of rooms have been reserved at the Penn Stater for the evening of October 29th and 30th.  Please call 1-800-233-7505 and ask for "Central Pennsylvania Teacher Fair - Group #CEN1029-001". Rooms will be held until September 29th.

Third Party Recruiters

Refunds
Any employer who cancels on or before September 28th will receive a 75% refund of the registration fee. No refunds will be issued after September 28th.
