NEW! Important Change in Federal Verification Processing for 2012-2013 Due to changes in federal regulations, Lock Haven University has changed its process of verifying FAFSA information for the 2012-2013 academic year. We can no longer accept copies of signed tax returns to complete the federal verification process. Therefore, we encourage students and families to utilize the IRS Data Retrieval Tool when filling out or correcting their FAFSA. If your FAFSA is selected for verification, and you do not use the IRS Data Retrieval option or you change the imported IRS data, you will be required to request a tax transcript from the IRS and submit it to the Student Financial Services Office rather than supplying federal tax return copies as has been past practice. Welcome to Student Financial Services
The Student Financial Services (SFS) Office combines Financial Aid and Bursar services. When you call or visit SFS, you can expect to find a team of caring individuals who:

help students apply for and receive financial aid; and

assist students with finding the means to pay educational expenses.
We strive for the efficient administration of student accounts and financial aid and to provide the financial services today's students expect.
Student Financial Services has two main service functions:

Student Accounts. We are the University's student accounts office. We prepare and distribute bills for tuition, fees, room, and board. We accept payments, offer a third-party monthly payment plan, disburse financial aid, and issue refunds.

Financial Aid. We are the University's financial aid office. Our staff evaluates your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and determines your eligibility for federal and state financial aid programs, including loans.
