What Is The Student Aid Report (SAR)?
uReceive SAR by email/mail within a few days/weeks of submitting the FAFSA
uContains a summary of FAFSA information
uReview for accuracy and make any necessary corrections
uKeep for future reference
The Student Aid Report is a compilation of your FAFSA information.   If you include your email address when completing the FAFSA, your SAR will be emailed to you within a few days.  Check the SAR for errors.  If you find any, follow the instructions on the SAR to make corrections electronically or by mail.  You will then receive a revised SAR.  Like all important papers, remember to save the SAR for your records.
