The Financial Aid Office begins awarding summer financial aid in mid-April and automatically reviews the financial aid eligibility of any student who is registered for summer classes and has filed a FAFSA. Because summer is treated as a trailer to the financial aid year, it is actually part of the current year's financial aid. For example, a student who wishes to receive aid in the summer of 2013, must have filed a 2012-13 FAFSA.
Upon review of financial aid eligiblity, Financial Aid will notify students via a message to their LHU e-mail accounts when their summer financial aid information is available to be viewed online. To access this information, log in to the myHaven web portal. Then click on the "Student Finances" tab and then on the "Financial Aid Awards" link on the left side of the screen.
Each student is urged to review their financial aid information thoroughly. Questions can be directed to Financial Aid. The office is located in Russell Hall and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays. During those hours, you may call the office at 570-484-2344 or email us at finaid@lhup.edu .
