Credits of tuition and fees will be based on the date courses are dropped. Room credits will be based on the week of official withdrawal from the residence halls. Board credits are based on the week the student meal ticket is surrendered to the housing office. For tuition
and fee credits, the first day of the week will be the same as the first
day of classes. For room and board withdrawals, the week runs from Sunday to Saturday. The following schedule will apply for the              Fall 2007/ Spring 2008 Academic Year.

Please note that the cost of tuition and fees is the same for         12-18 credits.  Therefore, any decrease between this range will not result in any credit to the student account.

Room and Board Refund Policy

A student who voluntarily withdraws from all courses is responsible for housing and meal plan charges from the beginning of that enrollment term through the end of the week during which his or her official date of withdrawal falls.  The student will be charged for the final week that he or she attended even if enrolled for only a portion of that week.  Charges are calculated on a weekly basis from Sunday through Saturday.

Lost Check Policy

If a check has not been received by the student after ten business days, SFS will investigate the status of the check.  If the check is still outstanding, payment will be stopped on the original check.  The replacement check will be reissued in the next weekly batch of refund checks.  Before a new check will be issued, the student must sign a release agreeing not to cash the original check.
