University Scholarships and

Scholarships are another form of financial assistance. Many
organizations offer scholarships based on a variety of criteria, such as: area of study,
academic or athletic ability, residence, or need. Possible sources include the Eagles,
Elks, Rotary Clubs, Kiwanis, Lions, Knights of Columbus, unions and churches. If you are a
high school senior, check with your high school guidance counselor for additional
sponsors. Scholarship information is
also available via the internet. You may find the following web sites helpful:

Lock Haven University also provides scholarships to help our students supplement the
cost of education.

The Lock Haven University Foundation coordinates and administers more than 80 scholarship
funds which provide awards to at least 150 students annually. The majority of these
scholarships are for students who are already enrolled at Lock Haven University of
Pennsylvania and are upperclassmen.

The Foundation administers two additional programs: one specifically for incoming freshmen,
and one for transfer students.
