Welcome to Student Financial Services
The Student Financial Services (SFS) Office combines Financial Aid and Bursar services. When you call or visit SFS, you can expect to find a team of caring individuals who:
-
provide our customers with excellent service;
-
help students apply for and receive financial aid; and
-
assist students with finding the means to pay educational expenses.
We strive for the efficient administration of student accounts and financial aid and to provide the financial services today's students expect.
Student Financial Services has two main service functions:
-
Student Accounts. We are the University's student accounts office. We prepare and distribute bills for tuition, fees, room, and board. We accept payments, offer a third-party monthly payment plan, disburse financial aid, and issue refunds.
-
Financial Aid. We are the University's financial aid office. Our staff evaluates your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and determines your eligibility for federal and state financial aid programs, including loans.
We hope our web site provides answers to your questions about our services as well as your rights and responsibilities as a Lock Haven University student. If you need more information or have suggestions for improving this web site or our services, please let us know.
