Verification
of Enrollment
All
Chapter 30, Chapter 1606, and Chapter 1607 beneficiaries (i.e. veterans,
reservists, and guardsmen who receive GI Bill benefits) must verify their enrollment each month to
ensure continued payment of benefits. Enrollment may be verified via
either touch-tone telephone at 1-877-823-2378 (toll
free) or the DVA's web site at
www.gibill.va.gov
- follow the link to the Web Automated Verification of Enrollment
(WAVE) program. If your enrollment has changed during the month,
you must verify your enrollment through the WAVE program.
Please
note that, using either the phone or WAVE method, students will verify
the prior month's enrollment. For example, on or after
August 31, 2008 a GI Bill recipient will verify August 2008
enrollment. Students who need assistance should call the VA toll
free at 1-888-GIBILL1.
