I listen to a lot of music. Here are a few of my favorites that I ripped off from YouTube. A Wonderful Invention. Yes a wonderful invention, but it is disheartening that they--whoever they are--remove videos due to copyright violation. You will see that almost every song that I like has been removed due to copyright violations! Copyright on Youtube where you broadcast yourself? Ooh, the long, ugly arms of corporate servitude!

I watch a lot of movies as well. I study Middle Eastern and South Asian films as part of my research. But you can learn something from even the really terrible movies. Film-making is an incredible art and here are a few films that I recommend. They are all terrific movies for various reasons.

The Lover Juliet of the Spirits Subarnarekha China Town L. A. Confidential
The Crying Game Shy People Taste of Cherry The Virgin Spring Blade Runner
