Assignments

Attend Class—Tuesdays will be reserved for oral reports and group discussions

                        Thursdays will be designated as a workshop where students will work

 individually or in small groups on their assignments. 

Required to receive of your final grade.

Research-------Read, Summarize and React Paper  (a minimum of seven articles).                   

                        25% of your final grade.

 Oral Report----A pair of students will present a current issue in class.

                        The issue will be part of a larger trend taken from the

 research paper. The student pairs will be responsible for follow-up group

 discussion by the class.

50% of your final grade.

Reading and Integration----Each group will be responsible for reading the assigned articles in

each chapter of the textbook and for completing the “Integrating Sources”

worksheet at the end of each chapter (distributed in class). 

25% of your final grade.
