for oral reports and group discussions
Thursdays will be designated as a workshop where
students will work

or in small groups on their assignments.

of seven articles).

Oral
Report----A pair of students will present a current issue in
class.
The issue will be part of a larger trend taken from the
research
paper. The student pairs will be responsible for follow-up
group
discussion
by the class.
50%
of your final grade.
Reading and Integration----Each group
will be responsible for reading the assigned articles in
each
chapter of the textbook and for completing the “Integrating
Sources”
worksheet
at the end of each chapter (distributed in class).
25%
of your final grade.
