Van de Graaff
Taneisha does several demos with the Van de Graaff
Light Focussing
Jim lights a match using light focussed with a mirror.
Magnetic Induction
Jim gets a light bulb to light under water using the principle of magnetic induction.
Lasers
Jon demonstrates Lasers and lights up the room.
Lenz's Law
Kelly runs a race where a magnet falls slowly through a coppe tube due to Lenz's Law of
induction.
Magnetic Fields
Mike and his son show how to "cut" magnetic field lines.
Induction
Ian shows us a large induction motor.
Lenz's Law and eddy currents.
Kelly show how a non-metalic pendulum is stopped by the eddy currents produced
when the pendulum passes by a strong magnet.
Soap Film
Jon and John make large bubbles.
