The show was for the PTO of Salladasburg Elementary School. The event was organized by Laurie Hendricks, a member of the PTO. For the first 1 1/2 hours the LHU Physics Club is demos while everyone watched. After this several stations were setup where kids and parents could do some hands on experiments and demos.

Several demos on rotational motion. John Reid swings water without spilling any. DJ and Carolyn show some interesting things seen with a rotation bicyble wheel.

Jim shows the force produced from atmospheric pressure by shooting a ping pong ball across the room.

Carolyn shows the trick to balancing a soda can on it edge.

Jose show how to find the center-of-mass of a stick.

Ray stacks boards over the edge of a table with a student sitting underneath.

Joey throws an odd object across the room and explains how the center-of-mass moves.

Joey balances a bottle stuck into a board.

John does a similar demo on a much larger scale.

Steve move a soda can around by charging a PVC pipe with fur. Carolyn, with help from some students, uses the Wimshurst machine to store charge in a plastic cup.

Levi show the off nature of the non-Newtonian fluid ublic

DJ uses atmospheric pressure to push an egg into a flask.

Steve demonstrates the hover craft.

Several inertia demos. Carolyn does the table cloth trick. She also shows a clever way to put a pen into a bottle. Jim knocks a pan out from under eggs so that they fall into beakers below.

Several resonance demos. Ray wiggles a spring and talks about waves and reflection. Carolyn swings several loops of chains. John wiggles pieces of metal using a drill. Jim makes different sounds using a hose trumpet.
