3-2 Cooperative Engineering Program

BS Engineering & BS Physics

Lock Haven University, Geology & Physics Department

The 3-2 Engineering Program is where the student studies at Lock Haven for their first three years and then transfers to an engineering program at another institution to complete their work in another two years for a total of 5 years.

BS/BS
The student obtains a B.S. in Engineering at the second institution and upon completion of this degree receives a B.S. in Physics from Lock Haven University.

LHU has a specific transfer agreement with Penn State Main Campus but it is not uncommon for students to transfer to other engineering schools.

3-2 Agreement with Penn State - This is the current contract we have with Penn State as of August 2009.
