The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health Science is designed to prepare graduates for entry into professional and graduate schools in a variety of allied health fields. You may choose from five different options of major interest.

This program includes a strong foundation of natural science courses combined with human sciences, unique advanced courses and practical / clinical experiences.

Members of our faculty hold advanced degrees with a wide range of expertise. They are active in scholary work in their respective fields, by regularly becoming involved in presentations to national and state conferences, publishing, providing leadership in professional organizations and receiving grants. You will find all faculty members serving as academic advisors to studnts in the major, that allows for close academic and career planning.

Lock Haven University provides exceptional facilities for the Health Science program. There are athletic training facilities, an exercise physiology lab, rehabilitation center, and gross anatomy (cadaver dissection) lab, with a new facility being planned for expansion.
