with a high risk sport.

All students will have a minimum of one upper
extremity intensive experience.
All students will have a minimum of one lower

Additionally, every attempt is made to give each
student one rotation off in both their junior and senior year while

education program student.
Clinical Assignment Requests Students are able to make requests
related to rotation assignments. These special requests may be due
to student teaching requirements, block semester requirements, sports
participation, and summer employment. Requests can also be made
for other reasons. All special requests for the upcoming academic
year need to be submitted in writing to the Athletic Training Education
Program Director prior to Spring Break. Special request due to academic
requirements will be given priority. An attempt will be made to
honor special requests as long as they do not interfere with the
quality of the clinical experience.
