Awards:
The Athletic Training Education Program shall present two awards to
Level IV Athletic Training Students. These awards are the Outstanding
Athletic Training Student Award and the Most Improved Athletic Training
Student Award. Both awards will be presented annually at the Spring
Athletic Training Student Banquet.
The Outstanding Athletic Training Student award will
be voted upon by the Level IV Athletic Training Students. Votes will
be tabulated by the Program Director and the winner will be announced
at the spring banquet. In the event of a tie, both Athletic Training
Students will receive the award.
The Most Improved Athletic Training Student Award
will be voted upon by the athletic training faculty. Votes will
be tabulated by the Program Director and the winner will be announced
at the spring banquet.
Scholarships:
The National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Inc., The Eastern
Athletic Trainers’ Association, Inc., The Pennsylvania Athletic
Trainer’s Society, and various other organization award competitive
scholarships to deserving students who qualify and meet the appropriate
criteria. When the scholarship requires an endorsement by a member
of the athletic training faculty and/or when the number of applicants
by an institution is limited, eligible Athletic Training Students
will be given the opportunity to submit their names to the Program
Director approximately 2 months prior to the due date. The athletic training faculty will
review applicants and determine those who shall complete the application
process.
