Athletic Training -
Graduates can work as athletic trainers for professional sports teams, sports medicine clinics, NASCAR, or industrial corporations. Lock Haven University Athletic Training program graduates have positions in the NFL, MLB and major universities across the country.

Health Sciences
Community Health Track -
Upon completion of this program, you will be prepared for a career as a health educator in hospitals, community health agencies, and governmental agencies. You will also be prepared to attend graduate school. A number of our graduates in the community health track matriculate into graduate programs in public health, epidemiology and other public health related areas.

Pre-Physician Assistant Track -

Pre-Professional Track -
You may enter graduate school in virtually all allied health fields with this degree. Some examples include chiropractic, occupational therapy, exercise science, cardiac rehabilitation, exercise physiology, clinical and sports biomechanics, motor learning, and sports nutrition. It also provides preparation for employment in health related fields such as sales within pharmaceutical or surgical/medical equipment industries.

Although not required, completion of the program provides students with the ability to take different certification examinations offered by several professional organizations including the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Pre-Physical Therapy Track -

Healthcare Professions
An Associate of Applied Science degree in Healthcare Professions is offered at the Clearfield Campus of Lock Haven University. This degree offers opportunities for both those planning to enter a healthcare profession, and those who are returning to education from a career in healthcare. An associate's degree in Healthcare Professions can lead to careers in high demand field such as occupational therapy assistant, paramedic, physical therapy assistant and many more.
