Which major should I choose? Any major that makes you read, write, and think will prepare you for law school. Most pre-law students choose to major in Political Science or International Studies. Some major in History, Economics, English, or Philosophy.
What can I do at LHU that will make me attractive to the law schools? Do an internship and spend a semester abroad. Do an internship with a government agency or in a law office and receive up to 15 semester hours of credit toward your degree. Participate in an LHU Semester Abroad and take a full load of degree credit. These two important experiences will set you apart from the other applicants to law school.
What courses should I take? Take courses that you find stimulating--that make you read, write, and think. Especially useful are courses in political science, economics, history, geography, and philosophy.
Who should I talk to? We have been sending students to law schools for years. Call us on the phone or send us an email:
