How we are different? Why get a degree in International Studies from us?

We really get you out into the world! We encourage our International Studies majors to spend upwards of two semesters studying abroad--in two different countries if you like--possibly more in certain circumstances. The LHU Institute for International Studies operates over thirty programs with our overseas partner universities. When you study abroad with LHU you remain a regular full-time LHU student so all the credits you earn abroad count on your transcript as regular LHU credit--not transfer credit. And by remaining a regular full-time LHU student while you are abroad your financial aid package stays intact!

The International Studies Faculty:

We share a strong commitment to maintaining rigorous academic standards and to providing the feedback and guidance that is instrumental to your success. We tailor classroom activities, exams, field trips, research and writing assignments, and individual and group projects to foster the development of your abilities and understanding.
