Welcome to the International Studies Major

at

Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A.

How we are different? Why get a degree in International Studies from us?

We really get you out into the world! We encourage our International Studies majors to spend upwards of two semesters studying abroad--in two different countries if you like--possibly more in certain circumstances. The LHU Institute for International Studies operates over thirty programs with our overseas partner universities. When you study abroad with LHU you remain a regular full-time LHU student so all the credits you earn abroad count on your transcript as regular LHU credit--not transfer credit. And by remaining a regular full-time LHU student while you are abroad your financial aid package stays intact!

What are the precise requirements for the degree in International Studies? You will discover that the degree requirements are very flexible--allowing you to shape your course work to suit your interests and career directions. Click here (then come back!):
