Ongoing Events
Save your plastic
bottle caps! Drop them off in the Honors House.
A woman named Cynthia was diagnosed with cancer. After
successfully battling cancer years ago, her insurance
company has decided that her insurance benefits have
"capped." Just recently, Cynthia was re-diagnosed with
cancer and now, her insurance company will not cover her
much needed chemotherapy treatments.
A company has just
recently pledged a promise that for every 1,000 bottle
caps, they will pay for 1 session of chemotherapy and
have even now extended it for Dialysis treatments for
other patients as well.
Now if you think
about it, all of us know at least one person that has
been diagnosed, battled, beat, or succumbed to cancer.
Every time you open a bottle of soda, or any other
product that uses plastic bottle caps, you could be
aiding in saving someone's life with much needed
chemotherapy treatments or dialysis treatments.
So instead of
throwing those bottle caps out, help in saving someone's
life.
Caps you can donate:
-
Soda/Water/Gatorade etc.
- Shampoo
- Hairspray Caps
- Anything that
is plastic and is a cap!!!
