Welcome to the Lock Haven University Global Honors Program!  If you’re looking for a unique and challenging college experience, you’ve come to the right place!  Lock Haven has one of only a few Global Honors Programs in the country, and we are one of the very few that offer not only academic opportunities but also extra-curricular opportunities.  And to top it all off, our program is almost entirely student-led, providing numerous opportunities to become leaders in the program in many different ways.  Here at the Haven, we have a challenging academic program integrated with a truly unique tight-knight student community.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  This is my second year as Student Associate Director for Global the Honors Program.  I knew from the minute I had my interview that I wanted to become a SAD.  I am currently a junior studying Secondary Education Mathematics with a Minor in Special Education.  I'm now in my third year in the Global Honors Program, and it's provided me with more opportunities than I ever could have imagined.  I was able to attend  Honors Conferences in Harrisburg, Kansas City, and Portland (Maine), and am looking forward to more in the future.  My experiences as Student Associate Director has been amazing, and has helped me develop as a person and as a leader, and helped me to become the Student Member of the Lock Haven University Council of Trustees.  My biggest goal as a SAD is to give that same opportunity to every student who walks through the door of the Global Honors Program, because every student deserves to and can have the same great opportunities and experiences that I have.
