Guidelines for Student Presentations
Each presentation will last for 20 minutes, including time for attendees to pose questions. Audio and visual equipment will be provided for every presentation. There will be four rounds of presentations, with mutliple presenters per round in different rooms. Non-presenters will be able to choose which presentation they would like to attend during each session. We are looking for at least 20 presenters, but woudl love to have more. Presentations may be done individually or by a group of students.
We are looking for presentations that deal with anything Honors, but specifically unique aspects or 'nuts and bolts' of your program. As this is an Honors Development Conference, presentations dealing with these topics will be given priority. However, we also welcome presentation proposals dealing with research or projects related to Honors work.
Some sample presentation topics may include, but are not limited to:
- Admissions Processes
- Required Honors Research Processes
- Honors Conference Experiences
- Study Abroad Experiences
- Honors Student Events/Programming
- Community Service Experiences
