We are now accepting Conference Proposals!  Please read the Guidelines below and then click the link at the bottom of the page to submit your proposal!

All proposals MUST be submitted by Friday, December 9, 2011.

Guidelines for Director Presentations

Each presentation will last for 20 minutes, including time for attendees to pose questions.  Audio and visual equipment will be provided for the presentations.  There will be a total of two presentations.  These presentations hould be on the topic of Developing in Honors, similar to presentations of the same title at the National Collegiate Honors Council Conferences.  They deal with any and all issues regarding to the running of an Honors Program or College.

Director Presentations will take place during the morning session, while students participate in Student Mixers.  These presentations will not interfere with Student Presentations, so directors will be able to see their students present.

Some sample presentation topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Marketing and Recruitment Strategies
  • Student Retention Strategies
  • Program Structure
  • Student Involvement
  • Honors "Senior Projects"
  • Technology and an Honors Program
