The Lock Haven University Honors Program provides enhanced
educational opportunities for a select group of intellectually ambitious and
talented students. Admission to the program is based on the candidate’s
application essay, academic performance, test scores, interview, leadership
experience and recommendations.Applications
will not be reviewed until letters of reference are received.
Please submit your letters of reference as soon as
possible. The student’s application cannot be processed until your

Letters of reference should be on
official school stationery and should be sent directly to the Lock Haven
University Honors Program.Please
indicate for how long and in what capacity you have known the student.Commenting on strengths, weaknesses and potential, please address oral
and written expression, initiative, motivation, leadership, and commitment to
excellence.
