| Kappa Delta Rho is the oldest and largest
Fraternity at Lock Haven University. The
Brotherhood consists of a diverse background of men
who dedicate their time and efforts to the
betterment of not only each other, but to the
university and community. Brothers of Kappa Delta
Rho are actively involved in the Army ROTC program,
student government, along with numerous university
clubs and organizations. The Brothers also serve
the community by working with the Lock Haven Fire
Department at the local Regatta in the fall along
with volunteering at the Bald Eagle Mountain
Megatransect Hike/Run. Every Halloween the chapter
house is opened to the public for a haunted house
with the proceeds being donated to the United Way of
Lock Haven.
Kappa Delta Rho was founded in
1905 at Middlebury College in Vermont. Since then,
she has initiated over 25,000 Brothers and has 36
active chapters across the country. The Alpha Alpha
chapter was founded on April 26, 1958 at Lock Haven
University.
Kappa Delta Rho prides herself
in being young at heart, progressive in thought, and
conservative in the ideals that lead to the
Brotherhood of all mankind.
The vision of Kappa Delta Rho
is to create a lifetime organization that actively
challenges each member to rise above everyday
pursuits, be of good character, and confront the
needs of our modern society by placing honor before
all things.
