Health & Physical Education Scholarships


Each spring students currently enrolled in the LHU Health and Physical Education program can apply for the following scholarships made available through generous contributions given to the Lock Haven University Foundation. The following scholarships can be applied for exclusively by students in the LHU HPED program:

  • Catherine & Leon de Wette Memorial Scholarship
         For students majoring in the Health and Physical Education teacher certification program. Must have completed 64 hours at LHU with a minimum GPA of 2.5 in major courses.
     
  • Jean F. Deobold Memorial Scholarship
         For a female Health & Physical Education teacher certification program major who has successfully completed her professional semester with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and who shows outstanding potential as a Health & Physical Education teacher.
     
  • Elizabeth Zimmerli Scholarship
         For a Health & Physical Education major with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
