Career Services works with faculty in a variety
of ways to provide services for internships. We
can assist you by locating and developing new
internship sites. We post opportunities on our
website for access by students and faculty.
We can identify alumni in the field who may be
interested in a job shadowing or exploratory
internship for students. We can also identify
potential employers who could be used as
resources to speak in classes, or as possible
sites for class projects. We can facilitate
panel discussions on internships.
We organize on-campus fairs for internships and
can arrange for on-campus internship recruiting
interviews.
We can assist the students in understanding the
internship process, locating internship sites
and preparing them with the necessary skills and
materials for the application process. We can
orient the students and educate them about
making the most out of their internships and how
to use the internship to establish connections
for their future job search. |
