Campus Editors

When the faculty mentor is satisfied with the manuscript, it is submitted via email to the Campus Editor along with the KURJ Submission Form and the Approval Form. The Campus Editor reviews and edits the manuscript.  This may be done in conjunction with a Campus Review Team. This review will mostly involve grammar, writing style, and writing mechanics. If the paper is not well written, despite it having suitable and meaningful content, it will be returned to the author without further review.  If the manuscript does not follow the guidelines set forth in  the instructions to Authors, it will be returned to the authors without further review. If a Campus Review Team is established, it can consists of a pool of faculty or faculty and students who have a variety of subject area backgrounds.

Division Editors

The Division Editors are comprised of APSCUF faculty members who have expertise in a specific discipline.  The Division Editors for this journal are serving in the capacity of an editor of a journal in a specific field.  Division Editors submit manuscripts to a minimum of three reviewers with expertise in the field of the manuscript.  The reviewers evaluate submissions through a blind review process. Based on the reviewers comments the Division Editors will accept, accept with revision, or reject manuscripts.  If manuscripts are accepted with revisions, the Division Editor will work with the authors until the revisions meet the expectations of KJUR.. The Division Editor forwards accepted manuscripts to the Editor-in-Chief for inclusion into the next issue.
