Course Information on WebAssign

WebAssign is web-based homework utility. Assignments to the class are posted by the instructor and student log on to do the assignments.

To access the assignments you first logon on to the WebAssign websight:

http://webassign.net
Log on using your
Username: this is the same as you LHUP computer username.
Institution: lhup
Password: this will be your student ID. You can change this once you log on.
Notes on entering information using WebAssign

1. scientific notation - WebAssign uses scientific notation like that used in calculators. Some examples:

2. precision -Unless the problems states otherwise, WebAssign will allow a 2% tolorance in your answers.

3. angles - WebAssign measures angles from the positive x-axis.

Going counterclockwise from the +x-axis use values from 0 to +1800 (positive values).
Going clockwise from the +x-axis use values from 0 to -1800 (negative values).
