Winkleman en loco S. Wellman at 5:00pm in Ulmer Hall, LHU. It was decided that the club will meet at 4:00 on Friday, October 30 in order to prepare for the scarecrow contest and show on the 31st. Demonstrations were discussed as to their status. Below is a list of the status of each demo: Dr. Reid Up up and away ready Depressing can still working hovercraft still working rolling chain ready, needs improvement Colored water in tank ready w/Adam glass and ghost maybe Larry Liquid nitrogen demos ready frozen hot dog frozen flower glass ball banana hammer balloon demos Head gear ready Dr. Wheeler Odd shapes ready Monkey gun should be ready garden hose ready, being perfected Steve Table cloth ready, more practice bouncing ball ready, need materials bucket of water will be ready Adam Rocket man ready Aquarium w/hot&cold water ? Shawn wrecking ball ready egg drop soup ready candle ready mouse trap car ? Kevin round&round it goes ready, needs practice geiser ready Brain chair against wall ready stick under newspaper ready drop golf ball on boards ready Kevin gave his talk on supernovae and how they tell that universe is expanding and possibly even in an accelerated state. Discussion of cosmological constant ensued. Discussed advertisement and flyers for Saturday's show. We will work on them immediately following the meeting We should send letter to Rocky Kolb and the Bloomsburg power plant thanking them for their interest in helping our club.
