


The box above was crafted in 2005 by Don Wood, an artist living in Wisconsin. It is signed and dated on the bottom and is in mint condition. Fashioned from buckeye, it is approximately 16" long, 6" high, and 5" deep. The box contains two levels; accessing each level requires the removal of a key piece from the box. The first key is typical for bandsaw boxes while the second is quite unusual and has not been revealed in the photos above. The box consists of 20 total pieces and 10 total compartments; not all of these are revealed in the photos above. See this page for an example of the only four-level bandsaw box that Don has made.
