The box above was crafted by Richard Rothbard (see Richard's boxology site) and is in mint condition. It is one of the more complex abstract boxes that Richard has made and is signed on the bottom. Fashioned from California buckeye, it is approximately 11" long, 3" high, and 5" deep. The box contains two levels accessed by two keys. The box consists of 21 total pieces and 16 total compartments; not all of these are revealed in the photos above. Note how the natural color variance of buckeye is displayed as the compartments in the box are revealed.
