This box is made of padauk, monterillo, and Honduran rosewood. The top will slide to reveal a compartment if the 24 interlocking tiles are sequentially moved to form a royal filigree motif. (One of the tiles is merely a "plug" and can be removed. The top is incorrect by the way, but not far from correct.) A few additional moves will reveal a second compartment. Four versions of this box, differing in the motif displayed, were made. The bottom of the box contains the correct motif if you get stuck.
